Simon Bertheau – FRA – ISAF rank: 48

French skipper that sailing with Hugo Abeguile in 49er. He started the match race 2 years ago just for three month and than restarted in september for the season 2016-2017. Their results in match race are: 3rd and 2nd in French youth championship of match race in 2015 and 2016, 2nd in grade 3 match race trieste, 2 nd in grade 2 match race in Barhein.

Julian Kircher – AUT – ISAF rank: 86

The Austrian Match Racing Tour started in 2013 and Julian is a product of the that Tour. His best ranking was #53 on 24th August 2016.

Piotr Harasimowicz – POL – ISAF rank: 127

He’s very new to match racing as most of Polish match racers he started with the Polish Match Race Tour in 2015 in the last year he’s traveling around Europe to get more experience in match racing. On Piotr’s web page can be found all their results.

Christian Binder – AUT – ISAF rank: 151

He is one of the experienced skippers in the fleet. Sailmaker for OneSails.at, two times olympian in 470 (1988. Seoul and 1992. Barcelona).
His best Match Race Ranking is #29 back in 2015.
2016. he is Soling European Champion and in December 2016he won Christmas Match Race Trieste.

Jure Jerkovič – SLO – ISAF rank: 241

Melges 24 skipper who started match racing to gain experience in sailing rules and boat handling. He’s a member of Lumba Match Race Team (Dejan Presen) a top ranked skipper in this regatta. Jure is 3 time Slovenian Melges 24 National Champion.

Teo Piasevoli – CRO – ISAF rank: 429

Local sailor.

Pavle Kostov – CRO – ISAF rank: no rank in MR

He is three times olympian in 49er (2008. Peking, 2012. London and 2016. Rio de Janeiro), won medals in European and World Cup, European Champion in 420 and his first match racing was on CRO MR Nationals last November. Now he is active in Wally Class.



Andraž Koželj – SLO

Got involved in race officials activities in 2001, managed race office for major regattas in Slovenia ever since. Sailed on a Fireball dinghy, Justinten 10ft, Superstag 40ft, Melges 24 and Musto Performance Skiff. Started judging in 2005 and umpiring in 2006 on local regattas, progressing quickly to the international events.
Became an WS International Judge and Umpire in 2008, took part in umpire teams for various World Sailing Cup and World Match Race Tour events and various World and European Match Race championships. Been a member of London 2012 Olympic games umpire team.

Started sailinf at age 13 in Optimisty dhingy as member of YC Zvir at Hvar island. Continued sailing at Laser standard. Still sailing Laser for recreation. Sailing judge and umpire from 1999.
